Complete Renovation NA - Multi-Family Units
This property, under the jurisdiction of the Angelino Heights Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) had been neglected and was disintegrating into the ground. Two of the homes had been vacant at purchase for many years beforehand. One of the homes had a caved in roof. Clues were uncovered during the year and a half renovation and we brought the property back to its’ former glory. Re-poured concrete walls in the same style and pattern that was first poured over 100 years ago. The windows were made from scratch on site by our craftsmen utilizing a few that we used as templates that had survived. Kitchen cabinets and built-ins re-built in the same style and manner that they originally were. From every angle inside and out, this was a comprehensive renovation and an extremely early example of a bungalow court. The first bungalow on the site was built in 1905.
